Video Management Servers launches in the UK.

Video Management Servers (VMS Co.) has launched its affordable, value-engineered video management and analytics server range, in the UK. The VMS Co. range includes COMPUTE™ VMS servers, CONFIRM™ AI Analytics servers and OBSERVE™ Clients. All are available to purchase outright or through the company’s unique, MOSS™ (Managed On Site Server), maintenance subscription service. With MOSS™, servers are delivered to a customer’s site, but owned, managed, maintained and warrantied by VMS Co., throughout their life.

Nick Bowden, Director of VMS Co., explained, “VMS Co. offers a simple and affordable product range, built to order and value-engineered, specifically for video management and analytics applications. We have a rationalized product range on our website, for simplicity, but offer custom server builds as standard. Our servers are available to purchase outright or through our MOSS™, monthly, subscription.

“The COMPUTE™ VMS servers are optimized for video recording and control, with the name COMPUTE™ coming from an IT term for processing capability, which VMS servers need lots of! The CONFIRM™ AI Analytics servers use Nvidia GPUs (Graphics Processing Units) to give the rapid processing needed for AI-driven, video analytics. GPU capability is measured in CUDA cores and the more the better, however, we use GPUs with optimal price performance to give best value. Lastly, the OBSERVE™ Clients, which can be rack-based or workstations, are designed for multi-monitor control and videowalls. These are optimized for viewing multiple, concurrent video channels across up to eight monitors each.”

VMS Co.’s product range is based on Dell, HP, SuperMicro, Nvidia, AMD and Intel platforms.
