HDD Bays (Chassis selection)
VMS Co. offers different server chassis options to suit a range of applications. These include cost-effective, desktop units for smaller projects through to professional, 19-inch rack mounted options for larger and mission-critical projects. The different chassis options have different numbers of storage bays available to house the hard disc drives (HDDs) required.

VMS Co. typically supplies servers with ‘server duty’ rated SATA hard disc drives (HDDs) from Western Digital, Seagate, Dell or Toshiba. HDDs are currently available from Western Digital with up to 22TB capacity, this means a 36-bay server could provide up to 792TB in total.
